It was always difficult to believe that our magnificent Navy SEALS with their uncompromising training and superhuman self discipline would slug a barbarian, even one as worthy of it as Ahmed Hashim Abed, the mastermind of the brutal executions and mutilations of Blackwater contractors who were delivering catering supplies in Fallujah.
Little lord Abed is now blubbering about receiving a bloody lip, purportedly delivered by our Navy SEALs. Some of us are a bit dubious.
Radical Muslims are nearly as perfidious as Chicago politicians. It’s not outside of the realm of possibilities to consider that gentleman scholar’s little boo boo was self inflicted.

“The claims by ABED follow a precise strategy detailed by an online paramilitary training series known as ‘al Battar,’ which provides instructions on all aspects of Islamic warfare. First published in 2003, al Battar provides detailed instructions to Islamic terrorists on methods to fight the West, from practical weapons training to ideological warfare. The al Battar training series was concurrently supplemented by a sister publication known as the Voice of Jihad, a publication that provides more detailed ideological and scholarly instruction to terrorists than the al Battar series. Together, the publications provide valuable insight into the tactics of Islamists on and off the battlefield. The Northeast Intelligence Network has been extensively involved in securing, translating, and providing tactical analysis of that publication to military and federal authorities.
Among the topics contained within the instructional series are methods to employ when captured by Western forces. The favored approach by the captive is to allege abuse during capture or detention, which serves to exacerbate the ongoing political debates pertaining to the classification, handling and disposition of enemy combatants.”
The Department of Defense confirms:
“WASHINGTON, June 29, 2005 – If you’re a Muslim extremist captured while fighting your holy war against “infidels,” avoid revealing information at all costs, don’t give your real name and claim that you were mistreated or tortured during your detention.
This instruction comes straight from the pages of an official al Qaeda training manual, and officials at the detention facility at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, say they see clear evidence that detainees are well-versed in its contents.”
Looks like Abed may have gotten the memo.
