ACORN Who?
After two college students in Halloween costumes unmasked the magnitude of ACORN’s malfeasance, the fabricator-in-chief told George Stephanopoulos that he was not aware that ACORN received taxpayer funding. In 1993, ACORN recruited Obama for Project Vote, an ACORN front group. In 1995, Obama represented ACORN, and he filed suit on their behalf in Illinois over the Motor Voter law.
This would appear to be the sum total of Obama’s legal career. In 1996, Obama filled out a questionnaire listing groups that would provide him with key support. Number one on the list? ACORN. The list was not alphabetical. It’s no wonder Obama presses for funding for ACORN. “ACORN runs ‘Camp O,’” according to John Fund, who has done extensive research on voter fraud. “Stop thinking about Barack Obama and be Barack Obama,” says Jocelyn Woods, summing up a two-day training program for ACORN applicants.
