The White House is now seriously considering maybe, possibly cooperating with hand picked counter terrorism expert, General Stanley McCrystal’s urgent please for additional troops to Afghanistan. Wasn’t Afghanistan the liberals’ favorite war?
Under pressure from the puppet masters, Obama has been dithering around since August 30th when the general sent his 66 page report to Robert Gates, outlining his strategy and requesting additional troops. McCrystal was ignored until news of the report was leaked. General McCrystal subjected himself to 60 Minutes in an effort to divert Obama’s attention away from his perpetual campaign. He should have appeared on Fox News, that would have drawn an immediate response from the Oval Office.
McCrystal’s strategy is to essentially form a vise grip around the Taliban, using both US and Afghani troops. Obmama seems unwilling or incapable of contemplating what a failure in Afghanistan would mean: the potential for the Taliban to grab Pakistan’s nukes. Once that happens, there would be no need for crude dirty bombs. The Taliban would have control of actual, functioning nuclear warheads if Obama blows this mission, despite Hillary’s asinine assurances to the contrary. It’s time to Cheney up.
