DURHAM – The proud son of a retired Army officer, Conner Maclver put his patriotism on display at the University of New Hampshire earlier this month by hanging an American flag outside his dorm window. The university took the well reasoned position that allowing a patriotic student to fly an American flag is a “slippery slope” and that if the American flag is tolerated, the next thing you know, students will be hanging all sorts of crazy stuff out their windows.
I suggest that young patriot Conner Maclver try hanging an Islamic flag. Let’s see how aggressive the university is in making him take that one down.

Even better, hang BOTH an American flag and an Islamic banner. See if the hypocrisy is so deep that they only see the Stars & Stripes.
