She has pulled this kind of thing before. Mary voted for TARP. I was able to ask her personally what the hell she was thinking. Her answer was that while her constituents were bombarding her with phone calls 100 to 1 against it, she “felt” it was the right thing to do. If that doesn’t give you chills, it ought to. Think about that statement: our “representative” knows precisely what her constituents, ie her employers, want and feels the need to do the opposite for her own political gain.
TARP was bad enough but Crap and Take is a train wreck. Mary had her mind made up on this one back in May. In other words, our emails and phone calls were of no interest to her. The green nazis had been pressuring Mary for weeks, taking out full page ads in the local paper calling on her to support Crap and Take. “While not perfect, this bill takes bold steps forward that will help create new green jobs, build a stronger, more sustainable American energy supply and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. “There’s much work to be done before this bill becomes law, and I will continue to seek bipartisan improvements that will move us forward in the most cost-efficient way and benefit all Americans.”
What on earth is she talking about? She is going to fix the bill before it gets to Obama? Mary has generally been a responsive legislator, but she has wandered way off to the left in hopes of hanging onto her job in 2010. Sonny would not be pleased. I never thought I’d say this but this is one woman who really needs to listen to her husband (Connie Mack, R-FL).

Sad to say, but Mary Bono is the diametric opposite to Sarah Palin. I know Sarah has feelings, but she doesn’t allow them to flood her brain and overwhelm the facts that our societies legislators should rely on to make their decisions. Bono is a disgrace to her station and her gender!
