Obama visited briefly with troops at Osan Air Base in South Korea long enough to let them know they are doing a good job of creating photo ops for the president.
As is to be expected, there was none of that offensive talk about winning wars or defeating our enemies. That would have been oh so Bushesque.
Nor did the CIC mention his continued dithering on sending more troops to Afghanistan as requested by his own general on August 30th.
Obama, did however take the time to explain to our soldiers how an applause line works.
