Students at La Quinta High School, in So Cal’s Coachella Valley have been amusing themselves playing a game called “Beat the Jew”. In the “game”, a runner is called a “Jew” and chased by groups of people in cars called “Nazis”.
‘The objective for the Jew is to run down Hwy. 111 to a specified checkpoint before the Nazis can catch up to him, tackle him down and capture him,’ according to a Facebook page that was taken down on Friday.
La Quinta, incredibly, is known as one of the better schools in the Valley:
‘We only have three weeks until there’s not much you can do about it,’ said the 18-year-old La Quinta High student who alerted officials to the game and Facebook page promoting it. She has asked to remain anonymous and is staying home from school out of fear of retribution.
‘Some of these kids that have joined the group, they’re like the cream of the crop of my class,’ she said. ‘They’re going to be the leaders of our future and they feel this way?’
Desert Sands Unified School District Superintendent Sharon McGehee displayed the twisted view of the First Amendment endemic to liberals:
‘(It’s) their freedom of speech; there’s not much we can do except be disappointed,’ Desert Sands Unified School District Superintendent Sharon McGehee said, adding that many students apologized.
The kids set the game up on Facebook, thus the school has excused itself from any responsibility other than to drag kids through more “diversity training.”
The most bizarre reaction came from the local police department spokesman who seems to think the kids were chasing Jews around in real cars:
Indio police spokesman Ben Guitron said that, assuming all people playing the game are willing participants, whether any criminal wrongdoing had been committed would depend on if participants using vehicles were following traffic laws.
‘If they’re driving, are they obeying the speed laws? Are they driving erratically?’ he said. ‘Are they blowing lights? Are they speeding to get to them? Then there are going to be complications.’
The question nobody is asking is where did these students learn such disregard for Jews? Do any of them have parents at all?
The student who blew the whistle is staying home from school out of fear of retaliation and says she has received more negative than positive reaction to her decision.
Imagine the hue and cry from all quarters if the game had been “Beat the Muslim” instead.

We are a group of volunteers and starting a new scheme in our community.
Your site offered us with valuable information to work on.
You have done an impressive job and our whole community will be thankful to you.
Ok to: Oh yessss
How about you check the research? Kids ADMITTED to making it up, so obviously it wasn’t her.
I’m a student at LQHS and I was kinda sad to hear about this, but I think everyone freaked out too much. Nobody ever says anything about people making fun of Christians, gays, or other races. You know how many Facebook groups there are that have insulted me? It’s like, it’s gonna happen. We can’t freak out, because kids are still going to do stuff like this. No “class” at the school can really change sick minds.
I live in a small town and kids here play a similar game called “fugitive.” Played the same, only without the hate-promoting anti-semitism.
Clearly if all participants were willing then there was not crime in the actions they took. However, next time let’s play chase the Liberals and see what reaction we get. BTW nice spin, Oh Yessssss.
Perhaps today’s youth are in need of a short no punches pulled history lesson on what took place during the horrific holocaust years in Germany. Maybe with videos, 8 x 10 glossy photos, with circles, and arrows. Genocide to any of earth’s people should never be a laughing matter, nor a made up game to be played.
Oh yessssss …. this is ALL because of Obama !
These kids would never ever be doing anything like this if McCain got elected !
Its Ohhhhhhh Sooooooo liberal ! Boo hoo hoooooooo !
Did anyone consider this whole thing might even be a fake ?
That girl who reported it might be the class loser … just doing this to embarass or get back at the more popular kids in her class. She might have made up that facebook page herself.
Conveniently, it just happens to be taken down now … hmmmmmm.
Joy Tiz and all … what a bunch of gullible ninnies ! Ha ha ha ha ha
Agreed Dave!!!
First Obama demonized the insurance companies, and everybody hated the insurance companies. Then, he demonized the banks, and everybody hated the banks. The latter had 14 busloads of people arrive on a bank employees lawn and terrorized his kids while the police did nothing. It looks like the Jews are next on his anti Israel agenda…
Welcome to Obama’s dream of America
I’m sure if the game had been called “beat the queers” or “kill the Muslims” there would have been a national outcry and the students would have been suspended and investigated for hate crimes.
