Moderated by the hyper partisan David Gergen, the inspiring Scott Brown mopped the floor with repugnant democrat hack, Martha Coakley, his opponent for the Massachusetts senate seat once owned by Ted Kennedy Kopechne.
Exposing the astounding arrogance of the democrats, Gergen asked Brown and Coakley if they would stop the health care bill so beloved by Kennedy. Brown delivered a response that inflicted incalcuable damage to the democrat party in its current constitution:
“With all due respect,’ said Brown, ‘it’s not the Kennedy’s seat, and it’s not the Democrats’ seat, it is the people’s seat.’ You could hear the roars from South Boston to Cape Cod. Coakley looked dumbfounded. Here’s why: Brown’s words hit at the heart of the question that’s driving this special-election campaign: Will Massachusetts’ vote be based on its past or on its future?”
The ever astute Robert Costa of NRO hearkens back to a great Reagan debate moment:
“Nearly 30 years ago, Ronald Reagan was in a high-school gymnasium in Nashua, N.H. His chances of winning the GOP presidential nomination were dimming, ever since George H. W. Bush scored an upset win against the Gipper in the Iowa caucuses. Before the debate in Nashua, Reagan became angry about other candidates being blocked from participating in the event. He tried to address the situation with the debate’s moderator. The moderator, a local newspaper editor, wasn’t pleased, and promptly moved to cut off Reagan’s microphone. Reagan, of course, would have none of it, saying: ‘I’m paying for this microphone, Mr. Green!’ It was a wonderful, assertive moment that helped make Reagan Reagan.”
Cloakley, a trul dreadful candidate, is running in liberal default mode of trying to lash Brown to George W. Bush, a contrivance that has long since lost its bite.
Democrats can also be counted on to take voters for granted in a deep blue state like Massachusetts. Their cockiness toward the unions is going to cost them.
The blog, Massresistance reports on the state of the unions:
He said that the union guys were out in force outside the building with big 4′ x 8′ Coakley signs. As Scott Brown arrived at the building, he went over and greeted the guys. Hudak overheard them tell Brown, ‘We’re voting for you. We just got paid $50 to hold the signs.’”
When Coakley arrived, in typical arrogant liberal style, she walked right by the guys holding her signs without a word of acknowledgement.”

one down, 59 to go……….there’s a God after all ,eh?
we can only hope the hard working folks in MI will wake up and recognize how dupped over they are by the same commi- lib representation they continue to vote for in MI……….go MA, vote for Brown and lead the way…….
Even if he loses it will be only by a few votes and the message to other Dems up for reelection will be clear….but heres hoping he wins in a landslide!
I live in RI, but years ago lived in Attleboro,Ma. If I still lived in Ma, I’d be voting for Brown! I’m conservative, I’m a Republican, and I HATE arrogant people and organizations!
Gosh, $50, Where do I sign up??
I agree with the author. The arrogance of these people knows no bounds. They have taken their base for granted for so long that its almost comical. I pray the voters of Mass. will wake up and elect someone who actually represents them. I am praying for Brown’s victory. It would be the shot heard ’round the U.S.
She walked right by the guys with no acknowledgement, figuring they were merely her servants at $50 apiece. Lets have more mention of how she contrived to keep innocent people in jail, she and Scott Harshbarger from the bogus Amirault case!
Please let it happen. If it can happen in MA, it can happen in CA. Prospects for ending this road to tyrrany we are on is experiencing a glimmer of hope!
Please God.
