Politico is reporting that the idiot who attacked a Muslim cabbie for being Muslim is a Victory Mosque supporter:
The alleged assailant, Michael Enright, is — according to his Facebook profile and the website of the left-leaning media organization Intersections International — a student at the School of Visual Arts and a volunteer for Intersections, which recently produced a statement of support for the Park51 project and is funded by the mainstream, liberal Collegiate Church of New York.
This is a tough time to be a Democrat. This year, it’s just not going to be enough to shoot up their own offices Chicago-style.
Now they’ll have to go out and harass Muslims and vandalize mosques while screaming about “intolerance” on the Right.
Or, they could just run on their records. Oh. Never mind.

i think you misread the politico story. there’s no evidence that enright himself supported the mosque, though he was a volunteer for an interfaith organization that recently issued a statement supporting the mosque projects. lots of religious groups may done so, and i wouldn’t assume that all their members or volunteers agree.
