Soldiers Organized Services (SOS) Needs Help

From Erica Stone of SOS:

Your assistance is desperately needed to continue serving the brave men and women of our military.  Thanks to many donors, we have been able to transport over 10,000 Marines and family members.    Unfortunately, all of our donations are one time donations – so we need to reach out to our friends and family once again.  I know the economy is hitting many members of our community hard.  You must remember that this same economic situation is affecting our service members as well.  We need to remember our military and continue to provide transportation for these valuable members of our community.

You may or may not know that a taxi ride one way from the Palm Springs airport can cost a service member over $200.  This is an outrageous cost that many cannot afford, but are forced to pay because they do not have friends or family here to shuttle them to and from the base and airport.  This is one of the voids Soldiers Organized Services (SOS) is here to fill.  With the donations of our loving community, we are able to show the men and women of our military how appreciative we are of the risk they take to keep us safe.

We would greatly appreciate any amount you can donate.  No amount is too small (or too big) to support our military.

If you have any questions regarding the services we provide, please feel free to contact us at:

Once again, thank you for supporting our service members through Soldiers Organized Services (SOS)!

Sincerely,

Erica Stone

They said on Z107.7 that you needed help this week-end. My gate pass has expired, but I could help out driving to PS if needed.
