US President Barack Obama’s warm endorsement of the plan to build a mosque by the ruins of the World Trade Center tells Israel – and its enemies – everything we need to know about the president of the United States of America.

The president was well aware that an overwhelming majority of the American people were strongly opposed to the construction of a monument to Jihad a mere 600 feet from Ground Zero. So what? Most of his policies are strongly opposed by the American people. He was not, however, prepared for the force of the resistance following his statements in support of the Victory Mosque. His coattails just got even shorter.
There has been an enormous outcry, true enough. Factoring out the small manifestly delusional percentage of Americans who are willfully blind to the truth about fundamental Islam; who refuse to familiarize themselves with the Koran and Hadith and are devoted to some addled notion of “diversity at any price” and what you have left are millions of Americans who are horrified by the prospect of a Mega Mosque at the sight of the most devastating attack on American soil in history.
It’s not only Americans. I spoke with a young woman yesterday from another country. A young woman who loves America far more than most liberals. In expressing her anger about the president’s comments, she kept going back to those horrific images of innocent victims throwing themselves out of windows to escape death by incineration.
Until the president spoke in support of the mosque, the issue was emotional but hadn’t escalated into a genuine calamity. Something more primal than moral outrage is at work. When our president openly sided with the ideology that gave us 9/11, our survival instincts kicked in. It’s no longer an abstract argument about values. Barack Obama scared the hell out of us.
The entire Victory Mosque affair has created quite a commotion. But is it for real or are we being played by master manipulators?
At the moment, part of the land designated for the jihad monument is owned by ConEd. The crafty imam-in-chief, as far as we know, doesn’t have the funding to construct his monstrosity. Although Hillary’s State Department is doing what it can to help out by sending Rauf on a fundraising outing at taxpayer expense. What he does have is a working knowledge of how the useful idiots of Moscow on the Hudson operate. He’s only too aware of how easily liberals can be maneuvered in the service of abusing America.
Overt jihad is but one arrow in the quiver. Like the Soviets, radical Muslims have learned to use our values, our justice system and our own Constitution against us. Like liberals, they don’t much like our Constitution—after all, nobody needs that much freedom.
In KGB fashion, proposing such a abhorrent notion and watching our reaction is a good way of gathering intel about the enemy. Rauf and his comrades are learning a lot about America.
But the biggest payoff may well be the propaganda value this entire turbulent mess has yielded. Young, aspiring jihadis can be treated to sound bites edited to prove that the Great Satan is indeed rife with Islam hating bigots. No doubt, Media Matters will be happy to supply the materials.
Recall the flying imams. Could the Victory Mosque be but a grand ruse?

Sorry guys, either you are way to liberal or completely retarded. Allowing a mosque at ground zero IS in bad taste. Really bad taste. I do believe that everyone who is LEAGAL to be here in the U.S. should be allowed to worship any which way they want to worship. But we have too much of a problem with people trying to bombard this country with THEIR ideals and religous ways. We are America the FREE. So let the right wings have their’s, the lefty’s theirs. Muslims can worship the way want, they just need to stop trying to dominate the world (& the world’s peoples). Cause let’s face it, Muslims are spearding far and wide across this world, every country has some. And if we remember our world history for a bit, is that not EXACTLY what the Christians did to the pagan people they over ran and forced into Christianity? The Romans? The Spanish to the Native Americans? Are we seeing the pattern yet? So lets be fair about it, this country is all about freedom, freedom for everyone to worship however they see fit, but really, ground zero? I don’t think that there should be any kind of religous building there at all. At best it is a place to remember lost loved ones, co-works, tourists for crying out loud. If 9/11 was not a national crisis then shall we call it a local issue? Let us ask New Yorker’s how they feel about a mosque at ground zero. Pretty sure they would tell you to go f— yourself!

And I hate to say it marcus is on track albeit in a rather forceful way. It would be very very easy to pull quotes from the Bible and use to back up or spread hatred in any number of ways and it is done constantly in our country. I think the mosque in that area is in poor taste. But guess what the constitution that all these screaming against it claim they want upheld gives them the right to build the mosque there. It is a local issue not national. Oh and states obama warmly approved of it, Nothing warm about it. He said the constitution allows it and he had no other remarks on it. Not warmly to me, just comment uphold the constitution and leaving at that. It is the media who is twisting and the dumbing down of America buying into it. Oh and I can point to many many far worse atrocities the US has committed. Ummm civilians killed in iraq, mass killings in vietnam by US soldiers on innocents(verified by our Pentagon) , Christians bombing womens clinics and killing doctors based on religious principles, lynchings, what we did do the American Indian and would you like me to continue.
