Who’s Ready for a President Biden?

Peter Ferrara is saying it out loud–Obama isn’t going to make it to 2012 without being forced to resign in disgrace:

I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.

The current Sestak debacle is but one obvious Obama based fraud.  As is normally the case, the cover up is going to be worse than the original malfeasance. 

Moreover, indirectly offering the job through former President Clinton still violates the statute, as does the offer of an unpaid position. That is why Issa, Mark Levin, and others are saying that what the White House is publicly admitting still amounts to a federal crime, which is an impeachable offense. Democrats are going to have to decide if they really believe that presidents are not above the law.

Obama apologista, Kirsten Powers broke ranks over Obama’s overwhelming  incompetence in dealing with the gulf oil spill:

Turns out the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration back in 1994 drafted plans for responding to a major Gulf oil spill, a response called ‘In-Situ Burn.’

Ron Gourget, a former federal oil-spill-response coordinator and one author of the draft, told the Times of London: ‘The whole reason the plan was created was so that we could pull the trigger right away.’ The idea was to use barriers called ‘fire booms’ to collect and contain the spill at sea — then burn it off. He believes this could have captured 95 percent of the oil from this spill.

Since the government had no fire booms handy, Obama’s executive decision was to send teams of lawyers and bureaucrats to the site.  It’s too late now for the fire boom plan to be of any use.  Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal devised another plan to protect the Louisana coast–building temporary sand barrier islands.  Unfortunately for the people of the state of Louisana, Jindal has been unable to secure government approval.  The bureaucrats are still reviewing the “environmental impact” of a few sand piles.

The oil disaster, like all distasters, has been politicized by Obama. 

Moreover, President Obama has already begun to use the crisis to renew his political push for federal cap and tax legislation that will cripple the economy with arbitrary, unnecessary, soaring, energy cost increases. Does he plan to hold any future drilling hostage to passage of this legislation?

Ferrara points out that Obama himself laid the foundation for his own political demise with his constant faux pledging not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 per year.  In fact, he’s now saying “everything” is on the table, including the economy asphyxiating Value Added Tax (VAT).

Then there is the delicate matter of Islamic jihad, which the Obama administration has formally endorsed.  Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan called jihad a “legitimate tenet of Islam.”  Spewing the jihadi talking points, Brennan wants us to believe that “jihad” means an inner struggle to purify oneself, not unlike my own daily jihad against chocolate.  Brennan claims there is nothing Islamic about the murder of innocent men, women and children.  One would think Brennan, who calls Jerusalem by its Arabic name, Al-Quds, would be more familiar with the Koran and Hadith which expressly mandate the slaughter of all non believers.

This kind of feculence offends rational Americans.  A nuclear Iraq horrifies us.  Ferrara:

Adding to all of this are the grave vulnerabilities posed by Iran successfully developing nuclear weapons, and President Obama’s foreign policy weaknesses generally, which just invite war. Devilishly pursuing the opposite of every one of Reagan’s policies, instead of Peace Through Strength, Obama is inviting War Through Weakness. If Iran launches a bloody attack on Israel, open calls for his resignation will be widespread. If Iran uses a nuclear weapon in that attack, or in any other attack against American interests, the Obama Administration will be over politically.

The whole point of Biden as VP was to provide Obama with impeachment insurance.

The idea of a President Biden is going to be a tough sell.  True, he is a dimwit.  But, at least we know who he is and his history.  Biden has a son who served honorably.  He spent his formative years in America and understands our traditions. 

Most importantly, we can keep him out of mischief by hobbling him with a Republican House and Senate.
