The Obama administration has declared the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional which translates into: Obama needs a distraction. Now that he is campaigning full time, he’s got no interest in dealing with the crisis in Libya as Crazy Gadhafi prepares to blow up oil pipelines.
Nor can he be bothered to comment on the brutal slaughter of four Americans by Somali savages who, apparently, we not persuaded by the administration’s efforts at “negotiations”.
Get used to it, America. National security has never been a priority with this president. He won’t suddenly develop any concern for our well being now that all of his time and energy is devoted to getting himself reelected in 2012.
He’s throwing a bone to his base at the same time he tries to create a distraction from his gross mishandling of the multiple crises in the Middle East.
Be prepared for Democrats to attempt to bait Republicans on social wedge issues. It’s part of their strategery to deflect focus away from Obama’s long list of failures, and paint senisible Americans as “extremists”.
