Our perennially incompetent Secretary of State was given a warm welcome by the Egyptian people who greeted her by pelting her car with tomatoes and shoes, to chants of “Monica, Monica!”. Looking at the photo of Hillary posted on Drudge, it would appear that Hillary’s poor stylist must have been murdered in the melee.
The hurling of shoes is the ultimate insult in the Arab world. Shoes are not held in high regard by Egyptian women as they are by we American females. Should this means of protest ever become popular here, women would be diving for Christian Louboutins.
Yet more reasons to celebrate Obama’s Arab spring. He and Hillary managed to depose a leader who was a reliable ally of both the United States and Israel. As predictably as night follows day, the power vacuum was quickly filled by the Muslim Brotherhood.
To all of the absolute fools who were swilling champagne over the Egyptian people finally being “free” once Mubarak was out: congratulations. They certainly have expressed their gratitude.
