Why doesn’t General Powell just switch party affiliations and get it over with? He supports Barack Obama with all his heart and bashes the GOP at any opportunity. Not that they don’t deserve it, but it’s really bad form to be quite so cuddly with the man who is destroying the country and has caused unabated violence in the middle east.
Now Colin Blow is warning us about a “dark vein of intolerance” in the Republican party. I’m sorry, General, but your race card has been declined.

He gets himself on TV and this is what he comes up with? Republicans are raaaacccciiisssttts. Anyone taken a look at Obama’s proposed cabinet lately? And just for the record, the minorities in congress are Republicans. Not that any of it matters. It was an asinine thing to say.
And since he’s so fond of our Commander in Chief, how about a few comments from the General about how Obama is handling Afghanistan? We’re shoveling soldiers into a meat grinder over there. Notice how we never hear the word “quagmire” as applied to Obama’s war. Our troops are out there in hell with no clear mission and absurd rules of engagement. How is your beloved Obama doing as CIC, Sir? Your solution is to endorse the nomination of anti Semite and all around bad egg, Chuck Hagel to run the Department of Defense.

Great comments as always, Joy. Remember Powellmania ? Bill Kristol and other “Republicans” fell for it – he was ready to swear Powell in as president. I knew right away CP was a dud just from the incessant promotion by media leftists. They yapped about how “popular” Powell was. He conned the Repub establishment for years.
